The other day I was given these dorayaki, Japanese cake that pancakes sandwiching sweet bean paste. It is named "zeitaku dora" and sold at Sweets Keyaki on the Hachimandori street.
The diameter of the pancake was smaller than I expected, but the spherical form bean paste thrilled me.
According to the web site of Sweets Keyaki, a Zeitaku dora uses three times as much bean paste as normal dorayaki. The shop is specialized offering various dorayaki other than zeitaku dora. Some use fresh cream, ice cream, custard, etc. The price ranges from 130yen to 300yen for a piece. If you are interested, how about visiting the shop on the Hachimandori street? If you go from Hakodate station, the shop is located on your left.
