Before Golden Week, evening local TV program introduces delicious foods of Hakodate taught by locals. The best recommended dish was "Kakiage Donburi" of Takahashi, which costs 1,470 yen. I'd never eaten the dish, so I made up my mind to go there and try it. It was great. Seafood tempura, which contains crab meat, scallop, small fish, etc. is topped on a bowl of rice. Miso soup and pickles are accompanied.
If you are interested and want to try the dish, copy and paste the following address of the restaurant and search the place by google map or some other tools.
The name of the restaurant is "Unagi dokoro Takahashi（うなぎ処 高はし）". Their menu is only in Japanese. Kakiage donburi is worth 1,470 yen or more!
Every Tuesday is closed and their parking lot is wide for about ten cars.
