It was almost fifteen years ago that I visited Istanbul. I didn't know why, but I felt that I needed to visit there. I like history and Istanbul was one of the cities I had wanted to visit. Istanbul was amazing. I wish I could visit there again.
By the way, I found an article on Minamikaze which said that there was a turkish cafe along the Nijukken slope. They serve some lunch menus and knowing it, I decided to have lunch at the cafe.
The cafe is located near Suehiro Coop. From the bottom of Nijukken slope, third or forth building is Pazar Bazar. It is two-story small building and there is a counter for three people on the first floor and three or four tables on the second.
I ordered chicken shish kebab plate. As the cafe's owner is Japanese, a bowl of brown rice and miso soup are accompanied. It is 850yen. If you prefer mutton shish kebab, you can order it with additional 200yen. The specific taste reminded me of my visit to Istanbul and other places in Turkey.
The cafe is small, but it offers very good ambience and I'd like to visit the cafe again to try other lunch menus, wrap sandwich or cooked navy beans with tomato sauce.
Lunch time is from 11:30 through 15:00. At dinner time, they only use lamps for lighting and it may be romantic to go there for date.
