I didn't feel like to prepare lunch by myself, I dropped by this cafe for lunch.
During lunchtime(11:00~15:00), a cup of coffee or tea is served for free if you order meal plate. A friend of mine told me that this cafe serves good ginger ale, so I asked the owner to give me a glass of homemade ginger ale. In that case, you need to pay a little extra.
The photo above is "Tarako butter." Pasta is flavored with butter and salted cod roe. Plain yogurt with pieces of fruit is later served as dessert.
It has a reluxed atmosphere and the owner seems to like cameras and you can see many cameras there.
Japanese menu only. I heard that its carbonara is great.
It is on the Ginza Street, a few blocks from Jujigai streetcar stop to the direction of JR Hakodate station. It is on the second floor of "Pain屋(A bakery shop)".

Akiko lives in a city next to Hakodate and loves to drive around Hakodate and surrounding area. I hope people who visit or live in the Southwest area of Hokkaido come to love the area, too. 函館の隣町在住で道南エリアのドライブ大好きAkikoです。道南を訪れたり、住んでいる人が土地を好きになってくれたらなぁ、と思います。
