Enjoy a film with 1,000yen on 1st in every month/毎月1日はイカすデー
Yesterday I went to see a movie because it was the 1st of June and the theater offered the cheapter addmission of 1,000yen. What I saw was "Aibou(or Buddies), the movie version" which was originally a popular TV drama series.
I heard that the admission for movies in Japan was high compared to those of other foreign countries. It is usually 1,800yen, but on the 1st of every month you can see a movie with 1,000yen. It sounds good, doesn't it?
If you are female, you can see a movie with 1,000yen every Thrusday. It is called "Ladies' day."
I went to Cinema Taiyo yesterday, which is locate three-minute walk from the Matsukaze-cho streetcar stop. It is a comfortable theater with spacious seats. It is convenient because they provide free parking lot.
A small theater which often plays minor movies is located three-minute walk from the Goryokaku-koen streetcar station. Please walk toward the Goryokaku Park taking the street next to the mister donut and you will find a theater, Cinema Iris. I like the most movies played at this theater. If you drive to there, you have to use a nearby pay car park. It's a small disadvantage. At this movie theater, you can see a movie with 1,000yen on the 1st of every month and they apply "Ladies' day" on every Thursday.
Akiko lives in a city next to Hakodate and loves to drive around Hakodate and surrounding area. I hope people who visit or live in the Southwest area of Hokkaido come to love the area, too. 函館の隣町在住で道南エリアのドライブ大好きAkikoです。道南を訪れたり、住んでいる人が土地を好きになってくれたらなぁ、と思います。
