Cross-country skiing in Mori-town/森町で歩くスキー

I went to cross-country skiing at the ski field of Neiparu-no-mori in Mori town. First half of the course was a dull slope in the forest I had to go up and then latter half I went down the dull slope lined with trees. Just before reaching the goal, there was an open field and you can find Mt. Komagatake at the end. After skiing, how about using the onsen of Chaplin-kan, a building next to Neiparu-no mori youth center.

Furube Fall

Since I found the ice work made by Furube fall, I visit the place every year at this time. This winter was so cold that the ice mountain made by the fall has grown very well.
Place : Drive Route 278 toward Todohokke and after passing the Choshi Beach wher e you can find surfers sometimes, you'll find the fall on your left after leaving the second tuunel. The first tunnel is long and named Choshi tunnel and the second one called Takinosawa tunnel. Sorry I'm not very sure about the names of tunnles.

I went to Onuma on the first day of its annual winter festival. There are several snow and ice statues. Most snow statues are built by students or local people while ice carvings are carved by professional chefs working at nearby hotels.
