My husband and I stayed there a night last November(2010) and enjoyed its onsen and delicious food.
When we reserved the inn, a room with toilet cost 14,850 yen per person while a room without toilet cost 10,650yen per person. The fee includes dinner and breakfast. These fee applies for two people with a room. It varies depend on number of people and a room you choose. Please ask the inn.
The inn is located in a deep forest by a river and you can enjoy beautiful natural surroundings. The photo below is one of their outdoor hot spring bath tubs only for the guests who stay a night or more in the inn.
The bath tub is installed outside, but you can use it privately.
The room we stayed was Japanese style and I think most of them or all of them are Japanese style.
I forgot to take a photo before futon were ready. As you probably know, futon are Japanese bedding and they are prepared by staff after you finish your dinner.
The scroll of the room says a famous old Chinese poem.
If you are interested in the meaning of the poem, please see this page in Japanese and this in English.
The dinner we had was wonderful. You can see the dishes we had;p
We were almost full but there is always room for dessertXD.
But there wasn't room for this bedtime snack. It is a steamed bean-jam bun.
While you are staying at this inn, yukata(casual cotton kimono) and tanzen(thick coat) are good to relax.
A noteworthy thing was that you were not offered slippers. But this two-toe socks were provided. This inn was slippers-free inn!
Another worth mentioning thing was you can enjoy beautiful flower arrangements.
How about visiting this secluded inn and spending a relaxing time?
I'd like to show some photos I took when I stayed a night at the hotel last month.
I reserved the hotel through Jaran and the course we chose was "Misaki course with a little luxurious dinner". An adult costs 12,075 yen including dinner and breakfast. The room we chose had a private hot spring, so the payment was higher than other courses. The photo above was the private hot spring attached to the room. I want to show a photo of the room, but when I arrived at the hotel, my family had already messed up the room. So I gave up taking a photo of it, but it was a good Japanese style tatami matted room. I stayed with my mom, sister and two nephews.
The dinner was great.
For children, a different menu was provided.
